David Schnitzer is a licensed Acupuncture Physician and a Diplomate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
 
After serving in the military and leaving in 1992, David dedicated his life to helping others find relief from pain and achieve lasting wellness. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Southeast College of Oriental Medicine, where he was honored with the Clinical Excellence Award, the institution’s highest recognition for outstanding clinical achievement.
 
David trained under Dr. Gordon Xu, a renowned master of Oriental Medicine, and has been in private practice for more than 20 years. In addition to his clinical work at Balance Point Acupuncture.

Dr. Siu Ming O'Neill

Dr. Siu Ming O'Neill is a licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine whose practice is rooted in both deep classical training and real-world clinical versatility. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Dr. O'Neill brings a rare combination of academic excellence, multicultural awareness, and hands-on clinical expertise to every patient she serves.



Her educational journey spans three continents — training for three years in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Shanghai University of TCM in China, followed by both Master's and Doctoral degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the California Institute of Integral Studies (ACTCM) in San Francisco. She also holds a Master's degree in Social Science and Psychology from The Education University of Hong Kong, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from The City University of Hong Kong — a foundation that informs her patient-centered, whole-person approach to care.


Dr. O'Neill's clinical experience is both broad and integrative. She has worked alongside chiropractors, psychologists, nutritionists, social workers, and yoga instructors in multidisciplinary settings, developing individualized treatment plans that address the full spectrum of patient wellness — from pain management and rehabilitation to mental health, sleep, nutrition, and stress recovery. Her therapeutic toolkit includes acupuncture with and without e-stim, Chinese herbal medicine, facial acupuncture, microneedling, auricular acupuncture, Tui Na, homeopathic injections, cupping, and Gua Sha.


Beyond her clinical work, Dr. O'Neill serves as a Senior Airman in the United States Air Force Reserve, where she advises officers and airmen on personnel matters — a role that has strengthened her leadership, composure under pressure, and ability to communicate with individuals from all walks of life. She holds an active security clearance and current First Aid/CPR certification.


As a certified RYT-200 yoga teacher, Dr. O'Neill seamlessly integrates mind-body practices into her approach, guiding patients not just toward symptom relief, but toward lasting wellness. She is driven by a genuine commitment to the highest standards of care, personal attention, and patient empowerment.

Sophia L. Ramsijewan


A.P., D.O.M., Dipl. Ac.

Sophia is a licensed Acupuncture Physician and a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commision for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She graduated from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in 2012 and has since become a certified ABORM (The Acupuncture and TCM Board of Reproductive Medicine) practitioner. Becoming an ABORM practitioner has given Sophia the advanced knowledge to fuel her passion for assisting families through every step of their fertility and IVF journeys using acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, and lifestyle recommendations. 


In addition to assisting women and families through fertility, Sophia also finds great success in treating pain management, digestive disorders, psycho-emotional disorders, and overall wellness. 


Sophia believes we can bring Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine into mainstream medicine by educating patients in the alternative options available so that they can transform their own healing journeys.
